Welcome!
Animal Matters was founded in 2003 by owner and
Tellington TTouch Practitioner Marnie Black. Marnie’s
goal is to provide education, training, and support to
people and their animals throughout the Seattle, Tacoma,
and Olympia areas.
Underpinning Marnie’s work is the
Tellington TTouch Method a gentle, intelligent
approach that has helped hundreds of thousands of
animals world wide for over 30 years.
Marnie’s approach is based on an absolute respect for
the animal, positive motivational techniques, movement
analysis, and groundwork. Central to her work are
skilled touches that promote a sense of calm, confidence
and balance in the animal.
TTouch is an excellent choice of training for
- Excessive Barking & Chewing
- Leash Pulling
- Jumping Up
- Aggressive Behavior
- Extreme Fear & Shyness
- Resistance to Grooming
- Excitability & Nervousness
- Separation Anxiety
- Car Sickness
- Problems Associated With Aging
- Helping an animal enjoy a quiet hour of
attention
- Promoting wellness and quality of life
Even the most difficult problems are often eliminated
with just a few sessions.
Marnie works with both owner and animal. She provides
TTouch directly to the animal and also instructs owners
in the TTouch method. Thus, progress can be made at
home. Using this gentle method owners learn to develop
their intuitive skills to objectively observe their
animals, assess difficulties, and solve issues on their
own.
